how many bikes do you own?
as a "bike" i mean a frame missing no more then 2 parts that are needed as the bare essentials to be ridable (so if you have a scrapper that's needs something like a front wheel and a handlebar, that can count as a bike). basicly if you have a shelf of random parts and a frame, it doesn't count as a bike unless you have enough parts to build it up to be ridable, minus 2 parts maximun.
can be any kind of bike from mtb to bmx, and everyting in between count as 1
tandems count as 1
unicycles don't count unless you ride it consantly
little kid pull-behind bikes do not count.
FR and DH bikes (or any other kind for that matter) still only count as 1, even if some of them weigh twice as much as other bikes. random weird exception to this rule is if you have a bike weighing at least 80lbs and can varify that you can actually ride it. then you can count it as 1.5 bikes (if that extra .5 helps) (but i think the .5 points would only count if you had 2 of those monstrousities)

Other than the Kona 'A' I have on order and the Kona Dawg I am going to build up over the next 3-4mo as a remedy for my Back (I am getting surgery in 3 weeks) . . .
1. 1955 Columbia 5-star Supreme
2. 1986 Redline RL-20
3. 1987 Jamis Earthcruiser Beach Bike
4. 1989 Fisher Procaliber
5. 1999 Kona Humu-Humu-Nuku-Nuku-A'-Pua-A'
6. 2000 Kona Hei Hei

8. 2002 Kona Unit
I also have enough parts to build a 1992 Offroad Proflex 962 and I have a 1996 Specilaized M2 Team that I gave a friend to ride.
P.S. Once I get the A I will own the bikes with both the longest(Humu) and shortest(A) model names in the history of bicycles! I know, I know, I need serious help. 8)

Holy Crap Gungy!
You need to post photos of all those rides sometime.
I currently have two bikes. A Marin Hardtail and now a early 80s era Univega roadie. Hopefully, I'll have three come spring. With a transformation of the Marin into something a little different with the addition of bike three (Single Speed maybe, or Rail Trail Cruiser/Cyclocross rig.. not sure yet - what else is new there right!?)
And maybe I'll bring home one or two that are collecting dust at my Mom's house back in the Rochester area. I know there is an old (60s era maybe) Schwinn Cruiser hanging from the rafters that could be pretty sweet if cleaned up a bit and I think there may also be a Schwinn Varsity in the garage as well (Were those good road bikes back in the day?).
I think I've caught the fever the rest of you have huh!?

I just have the one SloMoJo. Until i can ride more then one at a time, it will serve. It makes you wonder if the riders own the bikes or the bikes own them. Perhaps thats a subject for a different thread

Noo,
At the shop I work on Saturday a gentleman came in last summer and asked if we would take an old bike from him to try and find it a new home. We said we look at it. Heck if it's junk we can always just throw it away after he leaves. Anyway, he rolls in a partially disassembled 1978 Gary Littlejohn 26"wheel Pro-cruiser. The owner and I found it very difficult to contain our excitement so the guy wouldn't catch on that he had a virtual museum piece. Well, he left the bike fo nothing and now the owner has a mint condition Littlejohn. Miracles do happen.
