Just wondering how much everyones bikes weighed. I have a Azonic DS1 with disc brakes it weighs 29 pounds. Im not sure about my downhill bike but i think its somewhere around 45 pounds OUCH. I know Agent said his Bullit weighs 37 pounds . Im putting together a Bullit now im sure it'll be a tank.

My specialized is 22 lbs but damn strong. With the original fork it is a little lighter but the Fox Vanilla is a lot nicer and lets it take more of a beating. Nothing greater than a light all mountain bike

hmm lets see....with cages, no bottles, no other extras, with the
lightest tires I own
Litespeed Tellico, 20lbs
Trek 5900 Postal, 17lbs
Brompton, 25lbs
Surly 1x1, 25lbs
Trex XO1, 24lbs
weight I lost this year [on my own hogness], 25 lbs. so I reckon
none of my bikes weigh anything at all now

bkr - dude,
I used to be able to ride a light bike and still do all the tricks and drops i wanted to also. Chances are the same thing that happened to me will happen to you. I grew.
By the way, a little research should lead me to a great prize.
How is your set your bike up for the winter?
I'd have a picture if my scanner worked or I had a digital camera.
I ride my specialized stumpy pro w/ 03 fox forx vanilla 125 RLC, shimano m545 pedals, a 2.1 maxxis mobster in the back, and a 2.1 Nokian gazzaloddi core in front. In other words I leave it how it was cause I am broke and can't change anything until I get enough $$ to buy some carbon risers and an Easton mag stem.
I am riding my suped up specialized stumpjumper. I know it isn't much of a FR frame but it is strong as hell and light too. The biggest change I made was switch out the crapy SID SL with a 2003 Fox Vanilla 125 RLC. I also put on a Nokian Gazzalloddi Core up front and a Maxxis Mobster in the back and I swapped out the low end shimano pedals with M545's. I am currently saving up to replace the stem and bars.

ahh, to be bkr-dude's size again...
I ride a Trek hardtail that weighs about 26 pounds but I wouldn't really want to do any drops on it (I weigh over 200). I actually worry that I'll break my 19 pound road bike.
Funny thing is that I'd be better off losing my gut than having a light bike. Part of me wants to get a full-suspension bike this spring that is no heavier than my current hardtail. Of course weighing as much as I do I'm probably better off on a somewhat heavier bike that can take a little more abuse, but I'm having a hard time convincing my inner weight-weenie of that.

Ya JustBill you are right. Thats why I got the specialized frame. They have insanely long top tubes so if I get to tall I can change the stem. I figure if I keep biking I won't gain a ton more weight for at least a couple years. I actually lost 25 pounds this year. So I my bike feels twice as light.
HAHA you did it. You won the prize. Part of it is you get to give my tire a real name of your choice. The other part I am still trying to come up with.

Santa Cruz Chameleon SS w/ Marz DJ2 - pretty light
Santa Cruz Chameleon FRHT w/ Psylo XC - heavier
Santa Cruz Bullit w/ Jr T - heavier still
Intense M1 w/ Boxxer - heaviest
Cannondale CAAD4 road w/ Ultegra - lightest
Beyond that, does it really matter? My ass has at least 20# extra of beer and lard. I found long ago that if bike weight is your main concern you have three alternatives, don't ride, ride very light, replace parts often.
My lightest MTB is probably ~26#, the heaviest ~45#. I've had a 23# MTB before but I wouldn't trade now.

I agree with Couch, It Doesn't really matter. Especially when your big like me (215lbs 6'2") , otherwise you pay handsomely in disappointing part failures (those really expensive chi chi lightweight parts)
My '03 SantaCruz Heckler w/ Marz Z1MCR probably falls somewhere's between Couch's "heavier" and "heavier still" ;D I don't care to really know the actual weight, I love how it rides.

Intense Uzzi SL: Like 33 lbs or so (Hey I got a question, did anyone, as a kid or otherwise, pronounce lbs like "libs" instead of "pounds?")
K2 Razorback 4.0: It probably weighs like 14 pounds right now, seeing how it is mostly apart. It will wind up weighing 27-28 pounds when I finally get rid of that b.s. Noleen fork and put on a smoof marzocchi Z-1 (with 4 inches of luxurious travel). Yes, it's a little heavy for a race bike, but then again I suck, so it doesn't matter much.
Kona Haole: I don't know. It's pretty light. It rips.
Columbia Something or Other: I got this Columbia frame from my uncle --- he received it as payola when he was a disc jockey during the fifties. I cobbled a complete bike together with mostly Columbia parts. I can almost inflate the tires and at this point there is more non-oxidized steel than rust, but you never know, that could change tonight. Its got to be around 45 libs or so.
Lib-Tech Matt Cummins: Yes, this isn't even a bike (its a snowboard) and I don't even know the weight. I just felt like talking about it. It looks real swell. It has pretty pictures on it. I'll be having fun with it tomorrow.

Kewl, it looks like a rear tire so i think I'll call it B.O.B (back of bike)
Unless, of course, its a girl (how does one check?) then i would chose Eowyn. Behind every great man is a greater woman. (some girl wrote that i think)
Everyone should note:
When Master Tobias mounts his bike, it's weight is only increased by 1 graham. :)
