Just wondering if the CT folks have a pulse. I like to ski. Mostly DH, have yet to try XC, but maybe this winter I will. Done some snow riding but now the snow is getting too deep for me. Get tired before I make it to the good trails. Anyway hope you all are doing well.

Downhill skiing for me! Me and the wife went to Mt Snow yesterday. Awesoem conditions, and the crowds weren't too bad.

Hockey!! Well at least coaching hockey with my 4 year old and 6 year old sons!

Hope to start playing again on Friday nights at Kingswood-Oxford school though.

Also, going to UConn hockey games a lot lately. One UConn sport you can actually get tickets for and also not have to spend an arm and a leg to get in!

I like to call it XXCC or extreme cross country skiing. We ski trails that we definately would not bike. I went out saturday wearing full riding armor and got more beat up then all last riding season! The concept is to ski up a hill find a narrow line down through the trees and try to ski it, yes on cross country skis. This also includes jumping off rocks and logs, whatever. Generally the traditional xc skiing is done only to get to and from the hills in the woods. This weekend was at Soapstone. We will likely be doing some night skiing this week if anyone is interested. Wear your headlamp, and helmet!!!

Jolly Time you crazy nut!! Hmmm sounds interresting. If I had a headlamp, cross country skiis, body armor and any inclination on how to XC ski to begin with, I might actually consider joining you guys. Sounds fun though. Think I have become lazy this season. But just need some good motivation. gf and I are going to give pilates a try. Any information on this? Does it work? Is it worth it?
