what do you do when the rotors are out of true and rubbing against the pads?

Any Pro shop will have the New rotor truing tool and that is 99% accurate. You can do it yourself by putting your bike in a repair stand. Take a white piece of paper and place it on the floor where you can see through the Caliper and pad/ rotor contact point. Spin the wheel...Use a small crescent wrench and bend the rotor gently in the right direction needed to make it true.
If the Rotor has a serious bend...Replace it!
If you don't feel comfy doing this call your LBS see if they have the tool.... Are you close to Portsmouth, NH we have one at our shop...Papa Wheelies Bicycle Shop......603-427-2060
Thanks,
Steve

Thanks! I live in MA and if wheelworks doesn't have the tool then I don't know what this world is coming to.

Just had the same problem. If the rotor only rubs against one side of the caliper, then re-mounting the caliper should do the trick. My LBS did it this time, but I'll do it myself next time. If it rubs against one side then the other, that's a different story.
