Ditto-I just replied also. Nearly everytime 'Nam is mentioned on these widely read forums riders from other places are amazed at the quality of terrain @ places like 'Nam & Lynn Woods. We're indeed lucky!

Thanks to everyone who has been publicizing the video and the 'Nam cause on various forums!

This could be huge - apparently we've started receiving donations from all over, including a $1k donation from California!

(Apologies to those whose names I messed up in the credits in the rough cut - it wasn't supposed to get publicized until the final cut was uploaded late last night! Oh well.)

Wow...that is cool as hell! Here's hoping that the donations keep flowing in from all over the US (and there are a lot of Canadians on MTBR as well!).

Z, do you produce other MTB videos or was this a one-off kinda thing?

Is there any chance of getting the video on a disk. I think i saw somone i know in it. Not riding of course, just leaning on the bike at the NEMBAfest. I have a slow dial up connection and would really like to see the full version.

I can put it on disk! But it will cost a $20 donation to the vietnam fund ;D I'll Donate the disk, time to burn them , and postage! )Plus the other donations I have already made and the additional that I am going to make.

Bill's request for the video on a disc gets me to thinking.

I know that some organizations (we are doing it for different marketing things at UConn) are using mini CDs to send out informational/promotional material. For example our office of career services has a mini CD they send to CT-based employers which tells them of their services.

I think the cost is minimal. Perhaps NEMBA could produce a mini-CD featuring this Nam video and some other info about how to donate and use it in a mail-based fundraising appeal.

Just a thought!

Hey I made the video too. Unfortunately I wasnt riding :'( (mainly because I cant ride like the guys in the video).

It is more a Forrest Gump like cameo. At about the 3 minute point of the video they are ringing a bell at NEMBA fest for a donation, me and my wife are standing behind the bell ringer (I'm the tall one with the sun glasses)
