Mine is the MARZOCCHI MX COMP ETA. I just wondering because almost everyone here likes MARZOCCHI forks.

I voted for the Z-1 because that is what I have. Therefore it must be the best.
Seriously, I wouldn't mind trying out the marathon for a x-c race or just a long ride. But it's a little pricey and I'm wondering if the performance justifies the price. Anyone?

I'm running a Marathon on my newest rig. It's nice. EFT lockout knob takes getting used to and only helps on sustained climbs. Took a little while to dial in pressure on positive and negative chambers. Also a handful of rides before it got to be on par with the suppleness of my old fork (a z2bam, 80mm unit). In all it gets the job done. Alternatives are the psylo or fox. I'd call them all comparable performance wise. Some with more bells and whisltes than others.

I'm still on an Atom Race from last year but the new 1-piece lowers on the new XC forks look pretty sweet. Z-1 is definately the freeride budget fork of choice and the Dirtjumper 2s are also a beautiful fork.
Although a lot can be said for a steel Single-Speed with a Cro-mo rigid fork!

I vote "other"
'00 Z1Xfly 100mm(Air) on my Hardtail
'01 Z1MCR 130mm(Coil) on my Full susp.
Love the coil unit over the air, but all in all my riding preferences have changed in the last few years.

Ride? What? Isn't this just a poser forum. Somebody stop the boat!
(I like the technical side of XC but am not much of a hucker.)
