Hi,

I am in the market to buy a women's mountain bike (either new or used) that would be a good beginner bike but would allow me to grow into it as I get better.

Anyone have a bike for sale/know a good place to buy one in the Boston area? (I live in Watertown)

It's time to own my own bike...I'm sick of renting all the time!

thx,
gretchen

If you are still looking for a women's mtn bike, I have a Klein Mantra full suspension for sale. It is a small frame, aluminum-bright yellow. Good condition! Shimano components, new tires, cables, Marzocchi Bomber front shock. Look clipless pedals and bar ends. I am 5'5", weight 135 lbs and over 40 so I never rode the bike hard. I just bought a new Trek Fuel 90 and I hope to find a new owner for the Klein. I live in Northampton MA and I am willing to deliver a reasonable distance. Asking
$ 400!! Let me know if your interested!

Hi,

Check out my ad for the Specialized Stumpjumper. For a 17" frame it has surprisingly low standover height, 27 1/2". I'm just under 5'7" and have close to 3" of clearance. It's a great full suspension bike. I got an offer I couldn't refuse on a newer Cannondale Jekyll....Otherwise, I'd still be riding it. I live in Hampton NH. Is this close to you?
