Reminder: Muzzle deer season ends this Friday 11/29. I'm sure many of heard of the hunter fatality that occurred this past Sunday in Bradford, RI. It was on private property and several of the hunters have been charged with misdemeanor charges. The one who pulled the trigger will most likely be brought up on manslaughter charges. While this happened on private property it just goes to show you that being out in the woods right now is dangerous and if you choose to be out there to all the necessary precautions. I was riding in Arcadia yesterday afternoon and saw one rider with no orange on at all! Just plain ignorant in my opinion.
Anyway shotgun deer season runs 12/7 thru 12/15 and is an even more dangerous time to be in the woods than muzzleloading season. 500 sq. inches of orange is required during that time-frame and then its back to 200 sq. inches. Please be careful and happy trails (and holidays) to all.
Peace,
Mike :)
