11/20/02 Wet leaves, wet roots, wet snow. everything is slippery as hell. any steep climbs are hard as hell, because of lack of traction. no ice yet, allot of standing water. We need the ground to freeze up! I'm ready for Studs!

1/6/03 - 2 feet of powder! Snowboarding is Awesome! Spent Saturday and Sunday snowshoeing up and riding down old ski trails. Auto road was a blast to ride down. Big jumps, nice tree runs, deep powder. Free and no lift lines! Doesn't look like we'll be able to ride bikes anytime soon, there were some snowmobile trails, maybe they will freeze up soon.

What's it like there Toddski? Do you have any idea or guess when it will be rideable without studs? I want to visit my bud this spring and I was wondering when it would be a good time to make a tentative plan. Plus I wanted to give you good ol' boys are great big hug (But only after a good ride...I'm a little uncomfortable touching another man unless I'm on valium or after a great ride).

your pal,

Big Game

3/20/03- Hey BG, Right now surprisingly riding is really good! Snowpack is great, it was cold enuf last night to freeze everything up. Mud still is not an issue. Studs are optional. but as the temperatures continue to warm up, I fear conditions will deteriorate rapidly.

I don't know what to tell you Big Game, right now riding is good, but in the upcoming weeks it will be MUDDY and totally un rideable.

End of April? You can only hug me if I have a fender on my bike.

Hi all. My bf and I will be in the area (Ogunquit) in late June. What are conditions like around this time of year?

eeew… you freak me out jml666! “My boyfriend and I are staying in Ogunquit.” I’ve got nothing against homos, but I draw the line for satanic ones! Wacky tourists, maybe he thought Big Game and I are a little light in the loafers… I don’t even use a fender anymore.

Alright new for 05'! January 24! Conditions at Agamenticus are pretty dismal…that is for bike riding. Much more steady snowfall than the winter of 04. ski trails have a great base. A few snowmobiles have been out. Lots of ski, snowshoe hiker activity around the summit, more than a summer day. It looks like for some time I’ll be splitboarding up, down and around. I’ll post again when the trails firm up for the knobbies.
