The dates for the 2003 Adrenalin series were announced today. Holiday Farm in Dalton, MA got the same weekend as last year, June 28/29th. I'm definitely registering early this year so I don't face late fee's / solo close-outs.

I would LOVE to do that! I don't exactly tear up the trails though, so I'd have to join a team whose main focus is FUN over competition. I have not done a 24 hour race before.

Thanks for the info Kev. For a great review of last year's 24 Hours at Dalton Farm, check out:

I haven't decided whether I'm masochistic enough for this yet. Maybe if I do something really really evil (like Stalin evil), the solo race will be my pennace.

That review is definitely screwed up. Sure, if you do one lap by yourself for fun, I suppose that would be accurate. However those climbs are insane after a few hours, nevermind 24. Granted they are not as enduring as Mt Snow, but they are definitely as steep. Also, Stunts and freeriding? Please, not in a 24 hours race. It certainly deserves better than a 2.9. However, many of the racers were complainning that it was TOO techincal for a 24 hours race.
Shawn (The guy that runs the race) told me that they were going to modify the course for next year. After all, it was their first year, naturally the course was not perfect.

If you have not done this event you gotta do it, we are forming a team to assualt Holiday Farms, (well at least our senses)
Last year was very techinical but lots of fun, word has it that this years course will be close to 10 miles but still should take just an hour average.
Hope to see you all there in June

there is no junior solo, solo is just a giant category.
