On Friday Nov 29 a few CT riders are going to make the 1 hour drive to Vietnam for some riding. We will probably leave around 9:00, ride for a few hours and then grab some grub and head back to CT. If you have never ridden Nam you are missing out. The riding is technical, there are tons of drops, bridges, rocks, etc. This will definately not be a beginner ride.
Let me know if you are interested and I will start an email group where final plans can be made.

This one sounds like a blast, but unfortunately beyond my riding level - plus I think I'll be in the Empire State that weekend (hopefully riding somewhere with my brother in law).
Somebody should be sure to bring a camera to visually document the CT invasion!

Hey, I am flexible, so let's make it Saturday.
Splat-man. I work in Hopkinton and ride the Nam frequently, also know a few good parking spots. However, I am ready to give it up to a true local Holliston Boy (my best friend from college grew up in Holliston) and let you lead on. So I can coordinate meeting in CT if we want to ride up as a pack and we will meet at a place to be determined by the Splat.
Let's just say we will leave Connecticut at Exit 68 off route 84 (Tolland, CT) at 09:00 on Saturday 11/30. This will put us in Milford at about 10:15. Where shall we meet in Milford, Splat?

Bill with your relaxed "one with the bike" riding style I don' t think you'll have any trouble riding both days, especially with all that travel on your sharp rig!

I haven't herd any shooting or signs of hunters this year or last year (2 Years ago I did ) , But usually there are so many Bikes in there that it would have to be horrible for the hunters. I do Know I have seen a lot of Deer in There.
I still would not recommend wearing those antlers on you Brown Helmet , and white fanny pack.

I still havent decided what I wanna do for a wheelset on the hard tail yet so its gonna sit for a while. Anyway, Sunday river is open.......Anyone wanna go snowboarding next week????

No excuses Boing. I have a set of Rolf Dolomites i'll lend you for the day. Rim brakes and 9 speed. Bring your own rubber or use them as is with the Bontrager xc tires. These are the superlight 24 paired spoke deals so no drops over 3ft.

Date: Saturday 11/30
Time: Leave Tolland CT @ 09:00 am, arrive at Splat's @ ~10:15
Ride Vietnam for a few hours, get some grub and hops and head home.
I will not be online after Wednesday at 5:00 pm, so send me those email addresses before then. See you then!!!

I have been informed that there is about 6-7 inches in Hopkinton, therefore, the ride is off. :(
Let's try to reschedule the invasion!
