Hey has anyone heard of a GT arrowhead? I searched hi and low all of the internet and GT's site an found nothing. I was told that it is the canadian version of the Zaskar, Kinda like the lightning and the xizang. The reason I'm asking is I'm about to trade a 16" avalanche for an 18" arrowhead. I basically dont wanna screw myself. I do know that the critical dimensions are alike so all of my components will swap over. I was just wonderin if it was a heavy piece of crap, it was only made for 1 year so I'm thinkin there was areason for baggin the model. Any input would be awesome. Thanks. Boing

Hey thanks slo mo,
I was lookin all through those I got a bunch of personal reviews and stuff but no facts like frame dimensions and weight. People sayin it was good bang for the buck, but I have also heard people say that about genessee beer. Basically want the info so I can compare it with a more familiar model.

I would recommend contacting GT, but unfortunately today's GT probably doesn't resemble the GT that produced the Arrowhead frame. You'll probably just end up getting some Pacific Bikes Shmuck who won't be able to help you on single bit.

I would say try to search out some Canadian bike shops or even English bike shops on the web to see if they have old info.....dig down into the google search to see what turns up.
