I can't tell the year of this bike from the photos, but it looks like a mid-90s Stumpy based on what looks like a pretty old Rock Shox fork up front.
Do you think the frame is cromoly?
A possibility for a nice SS conversion if the price stays low on Ebay?
Here's the bike: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1582759636
Any input is welcome!!

My best guess is that is an alum frame w/ a 96 or 97 Judy xc fork. throw out a low bid and see what happens

Looks good! perhaps you can find a Cheap Rigid fork too! Rims look like they have specilized logo on them.
Don't bid till last minute! Snipe is the only way you can get what you want! Throw your max price in $40.? in the last 10seconds.

Thanks! That fork is probably crapped out eh?
I'd like to so with front suspension.....any ideas on where I could get a great deal on a fork to match up with this rig if I were successful?

Do you mean I should inflate my max price by $40 bucks to keep other last minute bidders away?
Please clarify for someone who has only purchased one item via ebay.
Thanks!!
