Anyone riding this coming weekend in the metro Boston area? I'm actually around this weekend for a change and besides doing the trail day at Great Brook Saturday, I'm looking to ride. Was thinking maybe Lynn or Vietnam or maybe even Foxboro.
Let me know if interested. Sunday is probably going to be the best bet.

I'm meating someone at Nam saturday at 1 ish (coming from Stoneham so I may be late). Neither of us really know where were going we're just going to meet on RT 85 and see where we can park. Sunday I'm hitting the Fells by myself, if anyone wants to join me, I enter at the old bear hill parking lot. eMail me if your interested. Back to Saturday, I'm looking for a hardcore ride in Nam. Plus I saw pics of Jeeps in there, when I'm done riding, I may even take my Blazer in there for some long over due off-roading. They don't like it when I take my Blazer into the Fells ;)

I think Adam is good to go but am waiting for confirmation. I have never been there so i am relying on others for directions, parking advise, and ride leading

I must have missed all the good trails or something, because both of us agreed it was a totally lame ride not worth the trip at all. Yet people on all the forums RAVE about the place!? I don't get it, unless we really did just somehow miss everything thats good.

I saw you in there ! I was the one riding with my son , and my wife and daughter were hiking it. ! ( we actually met them in there )
and the trail you were on was one of my favorite cross country trails. the funny thing is. were you drew on your map isn't the trail I saw you on! the other funny thing is, by being were I saw you you rode right past the one huge drop ( but because you didn't know it was there you didn't see it ) and I'll bet when you got the the mail trail after you saw me you turned left , ( toward college rock ) had you turned right , the Double drop was 100 yards up the trail.

What the chain necklace incident;D? My map is approximate, but I have a good eye for spotting fun stuff, and I spotted nothing?? It seems like its a pretty small area, even if you know where the good stuff is, it must be very short rides?

Yup that was us ! , You want the bareclet ? ( i Think that is what it was or a key chain) hard to tell.
I wish I'd know you were looking for that stuff, would have been real easy to tell you. you were soooooo close to what you wanted.

OK Fells
Here is a Map It has erros and lots of missing trails
but it will give you a good idea
College rock the climbers are on a trail Beyond #17
I saw you on the top part of the red trail going toward the right of this map. ( the red and green do not connect)
you turned right at the 15 mark and one ofthe things you were after is at the 11 mark. and the one you rode right by ( and would not see it unless you knew it was there ) wwas on the top part of the red trail near # 13.

Looking at this map you see why I say your map can not be correct. to get to college rock you have to taken the green trail, for me to see you where I did !

Thats wierd by the map that is at college rock, we looked to be on the orange trail. And we got to that big field with the 3 giant piles of rocks. Many I gotta keep this a secret, the lady i was with kept telling me to ask people (not that we saw very many at all) and i was like naw this place is tiny we'll get to the stuff eventually. that was of coarse before we lost all hope. No you can keep the chain thing, i had broken my chain in the Wendeys parking lot just sitting down pedaling. Chains are funny like that. But she had one of those funny link things and im all set now. Maybe sometime you can show me around, but not any time soon because (evil this is for you too) I take after the bears, not in size however, but I do indeed hibernate from biking in the winter. I don't do cold very well at all. But hey next year when it gets warm maybe someone can show me Vietnam's best (without that lady, shes alright but relatively new, shes not one for air, she can barely hop logs, I on the other hand...) and in turn i'll show you the best of the Fells. I will say this again though, I was going to buy an ATV this year, that got put on hold but if I ever buy one, this place seems like a great place for it!! The powerlines and train tracks, obviously not the little but of singletrack.
