Suppose you had two nearly identical racers A & B. Same skills, endurance and stength. The only difference was that A was carrying around an extra 20 lbs. of fat. A weighed 190 and B weighed 170. They both had the same amount fo muscle mass. How much faster do you think Racer B would be at an expert race at a somehwat hilly course like Wrath of Sun Valley?

My guess is 10 minutes. But this is just a guess

(I ran over some big piece of sharp crap on the Wilbur Cross (right near West Rock tunnel) yesterday. It damaged my front spoiler and gashed my gas tank...right after I filled it up...I need a new gas tank and a new spoiler. yay! I will be without my car for a week. yay! (and yes the fire department came...they said that the 12 gallons of gas would evaporate and did not pose a threat to Lake Wintergreen)

I suppose this could be karma kicking in for that whole "women can't climb" thing, but if that was true, don't you think that I'm getting off a little easy?
