Boon Nugget-
You seem to be stand up guy. The fact that you are offering to go shopping for me further solidifies the fact. You are a good man.
I will prepare a short list of must haves. Done deal.

Lots of HUBBA-BALLOO about expensive mountan sports here today. Seems to me that the 20% discount brings their over inflated prices to just about 20% more then you can get the stuff online.
If they weren't just a cheesy clothing store that sells a little bit of gear I might solicit them, but since the mid 90s they have seemed to cater to the yuppy clothing shoppers and the AMC croud (the appalachian money collectors).
BFD - a sale on overpriced fleece and socks... :-\

Actually, Popcorn Boy isn't all wrong. You've just to hit EMS on the right day. Yes, they tend to be overpriced and don't stock squat as far as MTB gear goes. However, I have found some great deals there on their clearance racks. I once bought the wife two Pearl Izumi Boulder t's for $15 each (I think they retail for $35). And their baggy shorts do kick ass.

Sometimes I feel so misunderstood, NOOdle. Hey, I know ya get what ya pay for, and expensive mt sports does give you love. They also give a great product return policy. They are so nice.
When I used to work there, they were so nice. 20% off is very nice. Capitalism is nice and the man with the red balls is nice. Everything is so nice.
Let me keep the karma flowing in that positive notion. Let's see, I got my patchouli oil, dreads are a workin, do a little yoga and WOW, I feel good! Thanks NOO, you da man! I think I'll go take a nap now so I can be rested for the big sale! Can't wait to flash my NEMBA badge.
Does anyone need me to pick up anything while I am there?

Boon-Boon,
Did you read Dale Carnegies "How to win friends and influence people"
I was hoping to stir it up on this fine Friday. I actually haven't bought anything at EMS in over 2 years (last purchase was an overpriced whistler lightweight stove..which was the last time I camped as well..unfortunately)...i usually go online, Campmor or Kittery Trading Post....
Have a good one
BTW - One of our programmers brought his Dog in today...adds a great dynamic to the office...another fun distraction...it is a solid dog..

The mooseknuckler has nothing to do with this! This is all about the almighty dollar! Disgruntled, smishgruntled! They treated me well dammit! I am a disgrunted consumer (except when my camelback bladder leaked and they exchanged it no questions asked)! I want justice, equal prices for all and most of all I want you, NOO, (rhymes with poo) to leave me alone. I am very sensitive. :'(

Poo,
It is interesting that a Jr. Member is telling a FULL Member to have resiliency. I love the fact that your member is junior, and live the fact that my member is FULL. You need to accept that! ;D

JT,
Dohh!
You're on to me. Yes my name is NOO I have status envy.
(I almost said member envy but that clearly opens me up to a bevy of abuse)

If you start pulling post seniority you're going to give the Big Game an even greater swollen head. I beleive he is the present posting king.
Noo, I was thinking of starting a Forum called counting. I type 1, then you type 2, then I type 3, and so on, and so on . . .
The number of times you've posted and the level of your Virtual Membership is meaningless.
It's the quality of the posts that counts!
There now I'm one closer to Full-Membership.
