What should I expect to see at nemba fest. I don't plan on riding, I just like to build bikes and look at them. Actually I got pneumonia kicking my ass and I haven't worked out or ridden in two weeks. I got this cold/flu/bronchitis/pneumonia kicking my ass hard. Is there enough to occupy my overactive cortex even if I don't ride, or am I better off walking around a deserted citgo station. Are there bike displays and gear and **** to look at. I have a feeling that the group ride must turn into a sort of competition "I'M THE FASTEST" type of thing as well. My lungs are **** so I'm probably not going to ride. And if I did bring my bike, I'd probably get eggs thrown at me, so I don't plan on riding, but just wondering what to expect. Yeah I've already read the description, but I want details. Kevin

dude, there is a lot of **** to see and do

but if you really are sick, do yourself a favor and stay home, and also don't come to a big event and cough up phlegm so we all can catch your disease.

I mean really, if you ARE sick, don't spread it around. Mountain bikers breathe DEEP and if you cough, people will be riding by and sucking in your spooge vapors.....

you can make another festival....get some rest and get healthy

Me and Wife can't go. Got a previous committment....a charity walk for breast cancer. Since my boss is fighting the disease, the walk takes precedence.

There will be several levels of group rides happening at NEMBAfest. I woudn't expect the novice or family rides to go particularly fast.

I'm sweeping one of the intermediate rides and if people really start to hammer they're just going to drop me. I expect to move at a decent pace, but it's not going to be a race. I don't know what is planned for the longer ride, but I think CouchingTiger may be leading it.

Boon-Boon,

Great cause and you had a good day for it. You should've hit some forum freaks up for $$$. Missed the NEMBA event myself due to a family commitment.

Tried some Shepard's Pie at Brunch yesterday...no good! (course it was on my 4th trip up to buffet...trip 5 consisted of some unbelieveable Pumkpin Pie... ate twice my body weight..yet another impressive showing for the in laws...)
