Why do think they call themselves ASS!
It's not like they are calling themselves S.M.A.R.T., (singlespeeds make all rides terrific). ;D
Hey Ass, do you suppose you could share a little bit more information on registration? I'll try to be serious.

The TEAM ASS guys is a serious SSer--meaning he isn't into the internet and probably has a backlog of 5000 emails he hasn't read! ;D
I'll call him presently and see if he'd mind sharing his phone number. I think by "registration" he means letting him know you're coming. Don't expect much logistical support, however. That would be contrary to the SS code of ethics. hehe

HEY, It's about time somebody held a long ride for Single Speeds only. Too many guys taking it easy in the granny gear slowing us down. Is it really only 69K, sounds kind of short to me but it will give us more time for beer afterwards.
The kick A.S.S guys at Victory Cycles will be there.

yeah well if we only KNEW where the freaking ride was maybe other SS'ers would go.....
Rhode Island, hmmm, small state, but still a bitch to play hide-n-seek on an SS starting from one corner working out where the hell this big ride starts....

What? About time someone did a long ride on SS? What about last years;
- A.T.M.C., 63 miles offroad on SS
- Roadtrip of the Century (KingdomTrails), 35 miles on SS
- BAD-ASS, 64 miles offroad on SS
and the more recent;
- mkr_designs local mtb loop, 35 miles SS niteride
- last night's 20 mile offroad SS ride
Riding is happing, local riding, lots of riding, big riding, just nobody is up for the challenge!

Okay guys, I was just joking obout no long rides. Can't we all just get along? Anyway, if you send an email to: rinemba@aol.com, like the original posting requested, you can get more info. Remember 69K-- 8 am -- 11/17/02
HAPPY RIDING

I think Couch was just bustin' your chops w/o malice. Just good clean fun.
Folks HAVE been emailing rinemba@aol.com but not getting any response. Can they call up your shop for the fully SS skinny? I left rinemba a voice message but haven't seen anything posted back to the forum yet.

ok, ok, I'm sorry. I am a simple man riding a simple bike and not a big fan of this thing and I rather ride then sit here and type.The reason we were keeping the ride under wraps was that We didn't want folks ratting us out to the park rangers who would want us to apply for permits and crap. We will be having fun and riding roots and rocks from Big River Area @ex.6 off rt 95 to Arcadia and back if we can. The exact route is still up in the air. Hog and Tiger Just come on down and lets go for a big old ss ride and have some damn fun. Call me if ya want (401)782-0162 Jim
