Mine is... 89 Ford Tempo without hubcaps... It's almost embarassing. Actually... it's worked well for two years. Unfortunately some piping broke in downtown Northampton last night! Thank God for ducttape!

It wasn't too long ago I had a BV/CV factor (ratio of bike value to car value) of 1.5625 (2001 K2 Razorback and a 1989 Jeep Cherokee with 205k miles). If you added my other bikes into the ratio (Uzzi Sl and my Kona Road bike), my BV/CV factor was a whopping 3.906.
Now, having just bought a new car, my BV/CV factor (with my SL alone) is an anemic 0.1190476.
Oh, the shame.

I'm embarrassed to report to you all that I have succeeded in fulfulling my dreams. Yes, you guessed it, I have constructed a car made completely of gold.
Ooops, wrong thread!

I'm embarrassed to report to you all that I have succeeded in fulfulling my dreams. Yes, you guessed it, I have constructed a car made completely of gold.
I bet people made fun of you when you told them about your dream. I bet they thought you were "different." They probably asked question like "'Son, why don't you be a professional like your younger brother?,' or, 'Why don't you get a real career like your older brother?,' or 'Why can't you have a pleasant personality like your sister?'"
Believe me, I know the critisism you've face all too well, my friend. But now that you've reached your goal, well gee, I wonder, who is laughing now?
While you are driving around in your solid gold automobile, I'm sure you exude a quiet confidence. A confidence, I believe, that can only be the product of knowing you are better than everyone else.
Don't be mistaken, right now you are on the very tippity-toppity of Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs. But instead of being envious of you, I wish to congratulate you, as I know when I finally build my solid gold bike, I'll be on the very top, looking down on all the fools too tired and too practical to dream.

Does it run on some type of liquid gold-gas mixture?

Ahhhh, I'm even more embarassed to say that I can not start the car, because the engine would melt, and thus my dreams of owning a car-made-completely-of-gold would be thwarted.
I'm thinking of moving to a really cold climate. Either that, or fulfill my other dream: to own a fleet of golden squirrels that will fulfill my dreams of owing an operational car-made-completely-of-gold!

Mmmm, are the squirrels to move the car or to run over (or dodge if you are against that killing of animals thing ;D )?

Well, Not right now but about 15 years ago shortly after I got out of College , I bought a used car for $800 and then went and bought a brand new racing Bike for $1200. I think I even put more mileage on the bike too!
actaully if you add the value of all my bikes I'm sure they are worth more than the value of my current car. :)
