Junk in Wampayuck

I am new to this forum so please excuse me if this is an old subject.

I was in Wampatuck and was stunned to see two junk cars and assorted wood left behind in Prospect Meadow after last months race trials.

Can anyone explain how this has happened and when it will be cleaned up?

Hi Clockman,

The cars and trials stuff are being removed today. The person in charge of removing them just got out of the hospital from emergency carotid artery surgery--hence the delay.

The ranger has been kept up on the situation and we apologize for the unavoidable delay.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear that someone is on this. Have been sad to see the impact of increased traffic at Wampatuck and was figuring this was just a sign of things to come.

Went to Wampatuck last night after work. Happy to see the cars are gone.
