I know that NE is the best place to ride otherwise we would all move, right. So if you were going on a mountain biking trip to some other part of the lower 48 states for ten days, where would you go?

This one could be fun!

the Ultimate Mountain bike destination is PK's back deck, where we can usually put some of PK's meat in our mouths

It would be awfully tempting to move to Utah - Moab, Salt Lake (Antelope Island) or Gooseberry Mesa. They'd have to change the beverage laws through!!!

I'd say it's a tie between Moab and Tahoe. I was lucky enough to visit Moab this spring, and my brother in NorCal this fall. 10 days is hardly enough to spend at either! Moab has the surreal 'martian' landscapes of petrified giant ice cream sundaes, and Tahoe has killer (higher) altitude climbs followed by amazing downhills. The typical ride starts with 1-2 hours of climbing before the same amount of downhill...There's so much great, truly epic riding to be had at each place, it's a tough call.
