I figure I start a threat for maintainence on the Holyoke Range.
I'm willing to help with maintainence / building new trails. I think PV-NEMBA is doing it? Kevin?

Pete's Wicked - I believe I counted 4 down trees. Two major ( had to throw bike over or walk around ) and two minor. The two major require chainsaws, but the minors could be down with a manual saw.

Serpantine - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE refrain from using your rear brakes/skidding. I'm not one to judge, but the erosion is getting fairly bad on this trail (on the challenging climb before the split to to Serpent God and on the downhill(s) after the fork.)

PV-NEMBA does a lot of work out there. They were doing a day every first saturday of every month but as far as I know it ended in August. I know Rich Labombard (VP of PV-NEMBA) does a lot of work out there (I live about 45 minutes away so I hardly ride out there, nevermind work). He would be the best contact.

On August 2nd, myself, Rich, George, and another guy (sorry, i cant remember your name). we did some work on a washed out section on Lost and Found. This section was severly eroded and if someone fell off the trail they could get seriously injured. NEMBA will be doing work on the Nonotuck Park trails soon because the racing ripped up the water-side trails. Call Competative Edge in Hadley for more details. 1-413-585-8833 is the number.

What a beautiful Sunday morning ride

Crisp cool, dry air and not too dry! I'm glad, whoever did it, that the huge log on PW (or OS, damn I can never remember) was sawed.

I heard there was a work day saturday? Is that true? No one told me...
