I'm curious about the NORBA races. Who won? Any local racers do well?

Roland Green won the pro race... not exactly a local guy...
The only local guy I know that won was Dave Wallace, he won the expert master race by 8 minutes. Impressive victory.
Nekkid crit? I heard there was but I didn't see it for myself :-(

Mt. Snow was great. Roland Green is a machine. On Friday he won the XC race by about 8+ minutes, and on Saturday pulled out the short track win. With three laps left Roland was in 3rd place, a good distance back from 1st and 2nd place, who broke away. The home-stretch through the start/finish was nice and straight, with a gradual slope. Each of the last three laps, Roland turn the last tight corners (reached down to lock out one chamber of his shock, clicked down 3 or 4 gears, and stood up for the chase down the home stretch - you could see him accelerate and close the gap each lap. With one to go, he was on their wheel, and 1/2 way to the finish the announcer went mad screeming that Roland was now in the lead. I guess that is why he is national and world champ.

Holy crapola! That's friggin' awesome!
I want, no, I need be separate my spirit from my body and the rest of the physical world in the manner described so vibrantly in the picture above. This must be the path to true enlightenment. Screw my solid gold bike...I'm getting a DH ride.
(I do realize that my budget will probably need to be about the same)

Why not just do it on a hardtail / rigid bike? More likely that you will crash and you can still save money towards the golden bicycle.

This guy was being a wussy boy, carrying his bike down the hill. That front wheel is totally rideable.

That first Yardsale pic is easily the best one I've got from the NORBA races. I do have more though, just not as cool as that first one. ;D

I have no idea who this guy is, but he was wearing a Pedal Power jersey, I took his picture. Pedal Power is the shop I always go to.

Another Yardsale pic. I think I flashed this picture about two seconds too early (notice this guy's rear tire is in the air :o )

Someone lost a pump. If you have seen this pump, please return to the West Dover P.D.

Two years ago I blew my tire right at the start of the xc race and I completed the entire race on the rim. However I did need to walk some of those downhills.

From the dust in that pic of Roland it almost looks as though there was someone in front of him. He must be about to lap 'em!
It was truly amazing to watch that man ride!
