So I'm making my yearly pilgrimage to VT for KT riding in two weeks - I can't wait!

So who's been up there this year? Any new trails for XC riding? Any oldies closed off?

I can't wait to hit Webs and Old Webs; two of my favorites. And of course I'll have to ride out and get a Sidewinder fix!

Yes, new trail MUST hit troll stroll, must. I found sidewinder to be a bit bumpy. Out by the chapel water fountain, they had a lunch snack booth, cold cokes and sandwiches.

Agreed, Troll Stroll is a must. My 12-yr old son & I hit it twice when we spent the day at KT last month. Its also a treat to have real food available in the middle of your ride. They also had burgers and grilled cheese.

Whoa! Where is this food stand/booth that you speak about? I've been to KT with the family only once and had to cut the ride short so didn't get to where Sidewinder is.
May head back up this Sunday so will surely checkout this food stand.

+1 on Troll Stroll AND Tap and Die. They are right next to one another- ride them down- come back up and do the other one. Then do them at full-on speed. They are very fast downhill runs with a bunch of little hips, berms etc.. They remind me of the stuff Hardy Avery and team build around Stowe/Hinesburg etc..

You asked about closed trails. Last weekend Worth it and Burnham Down were, both kind of messing up my usual routes. Without Worth it, a fun way to get up to Bill Magill and Heavens Bench is missing. Landowner related so looks to be closed for awhile. Burnham needs more bridging and may be open again soon. Without it, J bar and the fun stuff in the Town loops is not there as a campground run to town.

Still like Tody's/Catbox better than T&D or Troll Stroll. Good thing is that TS is taking a lot of traffic off the other 2. Hope you have a dry weekend, muddy last weekend after a Friday night soaker.

Was up at KT last Sunday and it was soooooo muddy. We were practically covered in mud. It was our 2nd time to visit KT and virgin on clipless to boot :)
Met a group of 7, I think, from Portsmouth when we made it up to Heaven's Bench, nice guys and gal/s.

Troll Stroll was very nice. Lots of fishtailing on turns due to water and mud :). Though I haven't tried Tap N Die and Toby's Tour.

A nice addition is the showers behind the outback lot. Made the ride home Sunday way better. If you are staying at the campground, it may be worth it to use these.

Thanks, amigos! Due to the possible rains, I think this is getting postponded and just a ride at Bear Brook Friday instead. Sniff.

But dang, I need a KT fix this year!
