The final Pedro's Fall Friday MTB Ride is tomorrow! We've had great success with the first three rides and we'll wrap up the series with a mellow ride at Haverhill's Winnekenni Park starting from Pedro's Headquarters. Parking info is below.
The ride from Pedro's to Winnekenni is about 1.5 miles followed by about 5-6 miles of trails made up of a mix of fireroad, doubletrack, and singletrack. Difficulty level leans towards easy but the ride will have 600-700 feet of climbing. The ride will follow a route similar to this: http://www.plus3network.com/activity/solo-winnekenni-ride/604103
With the shortest day of the year approaching quickly, daylight will be tight but we should be able to make it. Lights should not be needed but commuter style lights would be good to have for the roads back to Pedro's.
You can find a bit more info on the Pedro's Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=163443010356972&ref=nf
Hope to see a good group tomorrow!
Parking:
Since Pedro's is a bit difficult to find, I've marked out the approximate entrance location (green bicycle) and where to park (Blue "P") on the map below.
