View Full Version : Downhill Specific Strength Training

Over the last 8 weeks I have co-opted some training methods from James Wilson (Decline Magazine). I wrote about the outcome of this training in my Bog Dogs Blog (http://recessionbiker.blogspot.com/).

I was wondering if anyone has used Mr. Wilson's full system? If so, how did it work for you?

Also, if there are any other Strength training routines that work well, I'm always looking for new ideas to adopt.

The legs and back workout from P90x is pretty good.

Brian at JRA gave me some advice that has worked out well so far for me. I've been in the weight room after spinning doing squats and calfs and I've been climbing pretty well - much better than before.
