To Any MAC Users:
Are any of you Apple MAC users having trouble with Firefox running rather crappy in quite a number of various ways? It runs fine when I'm on a PC. But, when I'm on the Apple MAC Snow Leopard, it is rather slow, fails to open web pages, other weird things. I am just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

Make sure you have the latest version. Also make sure you get the Adblock Plus plugin if you don't have it already: http://adblockplus.org/en/ It blocks ads and popups which slow down webpages.

Yup, what Mongoose said, Apple posted a new version (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/mozillafirefox.html) of Firefox on 1.21.10 maybe that will work things out.
It's probably a good idea to check that you're running the latest Flash Player 10, Universal Binary (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)

All of that was already done earlier _ Firefox 3.6 and Flash Player 10 Universal Binary. I've had this unit for two years _ when it originally came with Leopard _ and since day one, Firefox and my MAC never got along really well.

Checking 3.6 release notes (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6/releasenotes/) in "Known Issues" there's a note that seems of interest:
It states "On some versions of OS X, Firefox will not be able to open local files from the Finder if they have spaces in the filename (see bug 530064 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=530064))" There are ways to fix this, but I would either wait for 3.6.1 for a fix or unistall and go back to 3.5.7 or whatever was last working fine...

Oh, also, I dont use Firefox on Mac anymore. Firefox, although nice, is probably the least Mac-friendly browser. The AppleScript dictionary is outdated and poor IMO. It uses its own private password database instead of using the (Mac) Keychain. It is familiar if you use Firefox on Linux or Windows, so a reason to keep. It also has more add-ons available.
I use Camino 2.0.1 (http://caminobrowser.org/) (for 4 years + now). Camino is a Mozilla product, and is a close fit as right in the middle between Safari & Firefox. It is like “Firefox for the Mac”. It has a good AppleScript dictionary, uses the Keychain, Native OS X widgets, and so on. Just be aware, it doesn't have a lot of add-ons like Firefox...

O.K. Thanks for the help. I'm thinking about dropping it _ as you already did _ in the near future.

FYI: Camino has a Firefox migration path, (http://caminobrowser.org/documentation/firefox/)
Also, as it turns out, there's a third party site developing add ons for Camino (http://pimpmycamino.com/). I'm going to check this out tonight.

Sounds like Camino is committed to making their browser work. Perhaps, at some point, I'll look over there also.

Actually, when I first set up Firefox, I limited the history to one day since I did'nt use that browser everyday. Anyways, it's been "fired" and now I'm trying Google Chrome MAC. So far it is running much better than Firefox ever did _ even though Google Chrome MAC is still in the Beta stage.

I'm happy with Safari. I did like Firefox with Windows, but never looking back...
