looking to build up a hardtail for new england style riding. i dont really get much air. 3 ft max if any. i do enjoy some good tech though. i have a dj bike built up beefy but i think its overkill. i am having second thoughts about its weight. i have not ridden it yet but the weight is already killing me just looking at it. 6lb 243 dj frame with mavic 729 and xt/formula 20mm. 130mm sherman fork. old e13 guide and junky shimano crank. i do have a stylo crank that i can put on. thinking of getting a different frame and wheels. let me know what you think
