I am looking to upgrade my crappy sr suntour fork on my 2008 hardrock pro disc and found a nice Rockshox Tora 318 SOLO Air fork at wheel world for only 190$. Is this a good deal? How is this fork? Im told I can make it 130mm of travel if I take out a spacer? anyone experienced this? thanks!

It's on my hardtail right now. 100mm of travel. It's not as plush as a fox float, but it gets the job done. I will say that mine seems to loose air a bit, not a lot, but I put air in every month and a half or so. My fox hardly ever needs air.
I think one of the big drawbacks is that this fork is heavy. Especially for a 100mm fork.
I think I paid 185 from Cambria for mine on super duper clearance so the price doesn't' seem bad.
Hope this helped a bit.

I wouldn't do it. I've ridden bikes with the Tora fork and I don't think it's much of an upgrade. I have an 08 Fox Vanilla I'd sell for around that much. Regardless of whether or not you want my fork I wouldn't mess with the Tora. I'd buy a better fork used.
