very little info on the interweb regarding this....

'some' 26" hardtails will fit 650b (27.5") wheels...which ones?. I know I could ask Dean and they would likely advise against it because of what my Colonel frame was 'designed for'.

Moreover, some forks work with this wheel size...which ones?

I know 650b and me were made for each other...just can't find the resources. Any ideas?

Any insight would be appreciated

I've seen web postings on the Surly 1x1 fitting 650B wheels/tires. Do a google search on Surly 1x1 650b. Universal Cycles has the 1x1 frame for 277 right now.

Take some careful measurements if you have a front sus. fork. You don't want to bottom out the fork arch on the top of the tire. Might lead to a rapid forward dismount.
