so the left hand side of my Fox 32 100L fork is leaking oil after each ride. The fork still seems to be performing well, just a tiny rivulet of oil running down the back side when I get off of the bike. I'm taking it to my LBS in the next day or so, but wanted to hear what some folks think it might be.

Cheers...

Bad seal. Wear does that, but a small nick that cuts through it can destroy the seal very quickly. Check the stanchion for a scratch. And, once you replace the seal, clean the mud off after every ride.

How old is the Fork? Scratches on the stanchions? Do you ever Maintain it? If the oil is oozing that much then you have an issue with the seal. Bring it to your LBS and have it fixed before it becomes a $250 repair instead of a $100 repair. If it isn't already.

Sent mine to Push in the spring for a re-build due to a leak on the left side and they found the stantion had heavy wear and needed to be replaced. Ended up costing about $50 less than buying the same shock brand new online.

I do my own usually. I've done Marzocchi, Manitou and Rock Shox without any problems. It can get a little messy because of the shock oil. Be sure the stanchion tubes are clean of scratches and nicks. Check out Enduro Seals http://www.enduroforkseals.com/ Most shops can get Enduro seals also.
