I need a bike light for my son who's taking a job on the Vineyard next week and will be riding home from work in the dark. Before I head off to the LBS, I thought I'd check to see if anyone is looking to upgrade and has a sturdy light they want to sell.

Can also grab a NR Minewt for short $$ just about anywhere.
Not crazy bright, but know a lotta people that've had good luck w/ them.
I use mine all the time and it's been great.

For commuting I would want a light that is easy to set up (no wires), light weight and/or small, with at least two sets of batteries. That way I could swap them out when one dies. With one battery I might be charging it every day. One that runs on AA batteries would be best. Maybe a handle bar mounted flashlight.
Don't forget the tail light.
