Anybody have any recommendations on where I could rent a decent dual-suspension mountain bike for a day at a reasonable cost? (Boston or further north, even as far north as Lincoln, NH)
Also, anybody know of rental places near Lake Massabesic or Waterville Valley, NH?
Thanks so much!

Cycle Loft in Burlington has demo bikes.
There's a Goodales(?) in Hookset, not far from FOMBA. Not sure whether they have rentals/demos.

Waterville Valley rents bikes (check out their website), as do a few places in Lincoln.

...that rent mountain bikes. There used to be a lot more, but last year changes in insurance regulations drove the cost of renting way up, making it more trouble than it was worth. 4 shops stopped renting since last year. The only places that still rent are:
Back Bay Bicycles - $35/day for a hardtail
Landrys - $75/day for a full suspension (a very good one)
That's pretty crazy for a single day.
