I'll be visiting the Portland area in early June, and hope to get some local area riding in. Doens't look like me and AOF are going to be able to connect, so I'm wondering who else out there might be able to play guide at the Rock and give me a nice long tour of the place. I would prefer a daytime adventure...may just try it myself if need be.

I'd be up for checking out Mt A or someplace similar too (the closer to South Portland the better). Any help?

Looks like I'll be joining the Wheel Power bike shops group ride Tuesday evening. Sure would like to do a longer ride at Fort Rock, so I may hit it earlier and catch up with the group ride when they show at 6pm. Still would prefer to ride it with an experienced local rider...

Looks like I'll be joining the Wheel Power bike shops group ride Tuesday evening. Sure would like to do a longer ride at Fort Rock, so I may hit it earlier and catch up with the group ride when they show at 6pm. Still would prefer to ride it with an experienced local rider...


I do the Wheel Power shop ride most Tuesday nights. I usually like to go out early and ride than meet up with everyone at the shop. I'd be happy to show you around for a couple hours first.

I spoke to Nate (Trigger) yesterday, he is going to do the Wheel Power shop ride on Tuesday night, and my travels plans have changed, so I may ride as well.

He doesn't have internet access where he is currently.
