Saw this today and wanted to know of any NEMBA folks who are doing their part.

I am working from home this week, so the commute to the basement office is car and bike less, but lunch rides will be on this week!

Unfortunately, where I'm working this week, there is no place to stash a bike. And getting in and out of the parking lot is hell with a car and impossible (majorly dangerous) with a bike.

No side car for my dog, he's too big for a back pack and would be too hard to control at the coffee drive thru in either case.

excuses, excuses. I keep my bike inside at work. Put the dog in a trailer with a harness. For those of you with an in house commute, think stair gaps. I will do my part wed pm, both ways on thurs. and fri am. Sure beats arriving at work on February mornings with frozen gatorade.

Every week is bike to work week! I'll be doing the Lexington to Boston convoy Friday am. ~50 people riding as a group, police escort - should be fun!

Normally, I ride in 2 or 3 days a week, but committed to riding in all 5 this week.

Is anybody taking pictures of that convoy? If so, can you post some here?

I'm planning to bring my camera. Hope I remember to...

I work from home, unfortunately the lunch rides have been getting superceded by work. I gotta resolve that.

I went to the rally on Monday. It's pretty cool having the police escort. I'm riding with the West Roxbury convoy on Friday.
Otherwise, I ride to work as time/schedules permit.

N.B. I've used the orange line and commuter rail a couple of times (with my bike), just to check the "multi-modal" option out. It's not that bad if you plan it out.

Hey thanks for posting. THis inspired me to ride in this morning. I used to bike like 2-3 times a week year round as a grad student. Now as a professor I drive... I have to cross the Bourne bridge which is not fun on a bike.

But I rode in today. 16.5 miles. Felt great.

Thanks for inspiring me!

I heard if you bike to work you can now get some sort of tax break or something? Can I deduct my Turner 5 spot????
