I was taking a stroll through the Nam this afternoon
and in the halfpipe , in the tree next to the step up
a Wal-mart schwinn , with a Pretzelled rear wheel amoung other problems

Sorry John, that was me... I bought a new Schwinn and wanted to try my luck on the step up. It was a rough landing.

hahahaha. it was in a different position when me and my friend went last week, we almost got taken out by it on the step up haha
although i commend your efforts, i wouldn't be leaving bikes around. the less trash the better.

Although thats technically littering... Its pretty funny.
One man's littering is another man's art. Old bikes hanging from trees are cool. And there's nothing better than an old junked out car, tractor, snowmobile, motorcycle, etc out in the woods. Those should not be cleaned up IMHO.

Yes, it's cool, but when you are trying to hit a feature and almost got beheaded from the frame sticking out it becomes a problem.

I disagree, because someone else makes the same case for beer cans, cigarette butts, dunkin cups, tires, palletes, refrigerators, Televisions, computer monitors.....
I guess this why they don't alllow mechanized transportation into designated wilderness areas. Once the machine fails, the effort to remove them takes more effort so they just get left there. Opportunity lost......
