The Trail and Advocacy School will be held in Redding on May 16 and 17. This is a yearly event which attracts trail builders and advocates from all around New England. The weekend will be filled with workshops, hands on trail building, rides, camping, and food. We have a beautiful camp site at Putnam Park . The weekend will kick off Friday night (Fri. 15)with a ride led by locals at Huntington State Park and then we'll go get some food in Bethel. All are invited to the ride. For info on the ride and social, contact Paula at peburton@aol.com.
The workshop begins Saturday morning and pre registration is required. Check out this link http://nemba.org/nembaevents/TrailSchool.html or contact Phil Keyes at pk@nemba.org for more info.
I hope to see some of you there.

I encourage anyone interested in building or maintaining trails to attend this clinic. After two days of clinics you will realize that there is more to making a mtb trail than just "rake n ride". A properly designed trail is not only a blast to ride but drains very well and requires minimal maintenance. The instructors are great, the information valuable, and the vibe is very cool. All around a well run event.
