This Sat, April 18 we will be in Franklin State Forest for our spring roadside cleanup.
This is a Trek series trail maintenance event and your participation will enter your name in the drawing for a Trek full suspension bike.
the past two weekends we've done this in Foxboro and Wrentham. this will be the last day of this particular type of work to help the staff of F. Gilbert Hill State Forest.
Plan is to meet at the Beaver Pond Recreation Area @ 10am.
We will break into groups and partner with other forest users to help clean up roadside trash. This is very easy work as compared to some other projects but it does show our willingness to work with the forest management and the other folks who enjoy the park. We should be done in a couple of hours.
Please come on out and help show our (NEMBA’s) good intentions and willingness to work side by side with everyone who enjoys these woods.
Advanced outlook on weather looks great. This week be sure to bring your bike and gear. we will be looking to get a ride in at a location t/b/d. (many choices in that area)
Should the weather turn inclement, I’ll post an alternate plan either Friday night or early Sat morning on the NEMBA Forum.
Thanx for considering this project.
