Hi,
I'm not sure where else to put this, so here goes. I think it would be really sweet if NEMBA maintained a list (database) of stolen bikes that could be resolved back to a particular member. At least one other local forum is keeping a sub-forum where people can post S/N info, etc; and they have had a moderate level of success.
I'm not sure if any LBSs would verify there work load against it, but it would be pretty cool. Bike thieves annoy me to know end and I still miss my Giant that was stolen out of my attic a few years ago...
