The Wet Rabbit Trail Heading from Jenkins RD is totally underwater and unpassable. was out there last night
For those connecting the 125 trails over to the Jenkins trails should use the Quarry Trail connector

Not really a map
Wet Rabbit trail is the newish trail that heads from the AVIS re-route (near the climbing boulder), across Jenkins Rd right and back into the woods. The Quarry trail is the trail directly across Jenkins RD.

I was afraid of that. I was out there last Sunday and there still a few flood outs.

So Wet Rabbit is that new NEMBA made reroute? And the Qaurry Trail; is that the newish trail on the parking lot side of Jenkins, or the older one?
Thanks!

nope!
Wet Rabbit is the newish trail on the Jenkins side that connects over to the other side of Jenkins rd. It has that tight ridge line section and all the swoopy ups and downs.
Quarry Trail is the older trail that basically goes to the same place. It passes by what looks like a big rocky hole or quarry . Hence the name

Was just there today and it seems some elves built a shiny new bridge over all the flooding. NICE! It's a huge elevated bridge and must have been a good day's work. Muchas gracias to whomever showed up on TM day and built it.

Not the same spot.
But the good news is the trail I was referring to is clear of water now. Walked in there today as I passed by on the road.

The andover trail committee put up the new elevated boardwalk as you reach jenkins road from the parking lot. Nice work. Our Nemba Northshore group put in a new board walk near the glacial erratic( giant boulder). If you go past last years new trail and head over to the AVIS section towards skug river, you will see our new work. As part of the statewide park serve day on April25th, we will be working at Harold Parker near the gun club. All are welcome to attend, no experience needed. Work the AM,lunch provided and learn some new trails. There is such thing as a free lunch.
