This is one of those weekends when we all want to get out and ride. But, with today's rain, and with the still-drying-out trails in most of our favorite riding ares, this weekend will probably not be a good time to be out on the trails. Yea, it is POURING here in Sutton. Has been for a couple hours. I'm sure all the local trails are fully drenched.

And while the wheels aren't spinning, Lots of Trail Maintenance days going on. I got about 12 hours raking, hacking at blow downs and etc. so far this week. Much more to come as the season progresses.
That said, it won't take long to dry things up if the wind comes on as strong as is promised. Maybe late Sunday. Hike first though...

Rode this morning with dry trails, but it is POURING out.
Definitely stay away this weekend.

I'd say maybe try some very quick drying places (most places on metacomet mondadnock) or perhaps ride road and put some endurance into them winter legs!
