Anyone interested in a group ride at Batchelor St. in Granby, MA this coming Sunday?

Thinking about 2.5 - 3 hours of some fairly technical trails at a not so fast pace.

Start time is pretty open so make a suggestion.

Might be in. Gotta go look at another place to send my money for four years on Saturday, not sure what Sunday is going to look like. Definitely would like to see more of B-street.

My neighbor is in, too. Hopefully, you can make it, John. There's a really nice rocky, uphill trail that has your name all over it.

Is this the trail that has the sign "technical trail" on it? I think it's on the way up to the Twister? My BF & I were planning on checking that out some time soon.

If it's a "not -too -fast" ride we/I might be in. What time were you thinking?

No, we're probably not riding Technical Trail (especially not up it which would be east to west). I was talking about Lizard King which has some awesome rockwork on it.

The pace will definitely be mellow and nobody will get left behind. We'll stop here and there to regroup as needed.

Still not sure of the time, I was thinking of leaving the lot at around 10:00 if that's good for others...

10AM works for me. The more people the better.

10am sounds good for me! Lizard King sounds FUN - although, I couldn't make it up the little bitty climbs at Chicopee State Park yesterday so I may be hiking-my-bike... LOL...

Is there only that one parking lot on B-street? We have parked in the same spot every time... dirt lot by the kiosk & I think the LOWER/UPPER access roads start there... Twister I think dumps out into that lot too?

Thanks!

Yep. You should be able to see the lot on Google Maps HERE (http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=42.282287,-72.52056&spn=0.003921,0.012907&t=h&z=17).

I'm still up in the air, gotta see how the weekend plans work out, honestly not looking good right now, I will probably have to stick closer to home if I want to get in a "good" ride.

Thanks all, that's where I thought it was... it's where we always park - but I'm never the one driving! LOL

Yee haw! There will defiantely be TWO of us there on Sunday! I am pretty sure you are all going to embarass me... or, I guess, I will be embarassing myself, right??? LOL. All I know that we rode some flat singletrack for an hour yesterday & it HURT! Can't wait to get to the bumpy stuff!:p

Sweet. See you guys then. I'll be on an orange Mongoose Teocali and driving a dark green VW Passat wagon.

As of now there are 4 of us for sure. There may be a youngster (did I just type that? I AM getting old!) joining us that saw my post on MTBR. Haven't talked to my neighbor since Sunday but hopefully he'll ride...
