I'm due for a new pair of specs and while I'm at it I want to get a pair of Rx cycling glasses -- though not necessarily from the same place, but that would be nice. I did the typical Googling, but I want to get feedback from someone who has already been down this path.
I'm thinking in-frame rather than an insert is the way I would want to go -- though likely more expensive. It looks like Rudy Project has a decent selection of frames. The Horus and Apache look interesting.
Any feedback would be appreciated...

Check out glacier glasses with RX lenses. The large lenses and side shields give some protection and wind resistance. My frames are regular Julbo Drus frames that I brought to the local eye glass store to have RX inserts put in.
I never found a pair of glasses/goggles with RX inserts that worked well. The lenses on the inserts had to be curved to fit which causes distortion. Plus the two layers cause fogging issues. If I have to wear goggles, I use contacts now.
I've accumulated a bit of an eyeglass/goggle/eye shield collection trying to figure out this problem.

I have used Oakley's for 10 years, they cost 200.00 - 400.00 depending on the frames, i used the last pair for 3 years.

I've had good luck with my Rudy Projects. tried the insert first, bad idea. couldn't get a good fit and it really sucks when both sets of lenses fog up and you have to take the whole assembly apart.
lots of $$ though. frames were approx $200 and the lenses were at least another $200. (lots of fancy curved computer control grinding involved)
