Well, after doing some recon and hearing from others, it looks like Borderlands is in very good shape. So... lets schedule a ride. I was thinking about hitting Borderlands on Saturday morning at 10am. Meet at the main lot in the back near the trail head at 10am. Ride starts at 10:10am.

Its going to be a moderate paced ride due to it being early season, me having a bit of winter gut to work off and the fact that I am still dialing in my new 29er. All are welcome. Expect 2 hrs or so.

See you there.

Hey- I might be in for this. Never been there though, where's the main parking lot?

Borderlands is right on the border of Easton and Sharon, MA. The main lot is on the west side of the park off of Massapoag Ave. You have to pay $2 to park but the riding is worth it.

If you drive into the lot and all the way back to the back left corner of the lot, then you should find where all the mountain bikers park. I drive a gray Honda Accord and will be riding a root beer colored Niner hardtail.

Trails were great- A little wet in spots, and some overgrow veg/ leaves- but great shape for this time of year.

Agreed. Borderlands is in great shape for end of March. It would have been a great ride if I could keep my chain on my front chainring. The singlespeed ring is on order and I should have a functional 1 x 9 by next weekend...

Sorry I coudn't make it, I'll try and make the next one.

By the way, if you're having troubles with your 1x9 set up, you might need more then a SS chain ring. More specifically, something like this:
