So I went poking around Borderlands last week to check out and see if the trails were rideable. They seemed remarkably dry to me. There are wet parts but nothing too bad. As long as you walked around those parts, everything else seemed very good. Granted, I did not walk the entire park...

Anyone else have opinions? I would love to get out and ride...

Yup, Borderland is in good shape! I took a spin to check it out Tues evening. Trails were remarkably dry for this time of year. They should be primo this weekend.
I was expecting the worst after remembering a trail check ride this time of year, about two years ago, when I came across deep horse prints which destroyed a long portion of Friends trail. The rode on one of the warmest thaw days, & those hoof marks stayed imprinted in the trail bed for the whole season...

Excellent. Well in that case I am heading over to Borderlands on Saturday morning if anyone wants to join. I will post it in the as a ride separately as well.

Hey guys, I have been riding around 7am a couple times this week (still frost) and have noticed some light atv damage (quarry loop area of the park)- After riding a bit more it looks like it may be caused by the parks utility quad??

Other than that the park looks in great shape - I'll be riding from the bay lot around 6:15 tonight if anyone wants to join.

I saw the ATV tracks and wondered the same, I shot an email to the land manager anyways...
