Still real slushy out in Harwich. Maybe by Sunday it might be clear out.....I hope. Gonna try and ride Nickerson or Willow early Sunday.

Rode Nickerson (or attempted to) yesterday morning. Great riding weather but found impossible to ride in many spots due to no traction. It was a combination of solid ice, slush and break away wet snow.Going to give it another try in a couple hours.

There is a chance of rain tonight and in the morning which most likely would wipe out the rest of the now, but leave pretty muddy conditions. I am going to give Willow Street a whirl in the morning. It should be in a little better condition than Nickerson.

Is anyone going to attempt Otis tomorrow? I'm looking at some webcams and the open areas look free of snow. I wonder how it is in the trees though...

Is anyone riding Ottis tomorrow? I'm gonna give it a shot, never been before. I'm not even sure where 2 park. Under some bridge, outside the base somewhere. All I know is I need 2 ride and there is still way 2 much snow in the Foxboro area. Directions would be great, riders even better!

I'm going to risk it and give it a shot. If worse comes to worse, there's a nice sub shop down the street..

kmdmac,

Willow is soft and muddy at times but rideable. There is still some slushy snow in spots which makes some of the steeper climbs difficult. The hardest thing is trying to stay out of the ruts some moto-head left yesterday. They really tore up the trail. I would imagine T.O.T is in similar condition, but not sure about Otis. Nickerson is probably a mudfest. Good luck.

given these conditions as described, I'm gonna pass on riding. save the trails for a better day! get the fixed gear out for a road spin....

There were motos in ToT last week and they did quite a bit of damage.

Otis was great today. There were some muddy spots to avoid but most of the trails were clear. The rocks were surprisingly dry and there was very little snow.

ToT was also in pretty good shape today. Some muddy areas but really none of them were really soft. A fair bit of slushy stuff on the north-facing slopes made some of the climbs tough. Other than that, nice riding.
