Horse Hill in Merrimack

Great ride on Saturday. Good pack from the foot traffic and the XC skiers are also in there. Somebody goes around with a groomer and packs the outside loop but my guess is that with the rain/slush we got last night and the cold weather today its most likely even better today.

Not so good this morning. 3 to 5" of heavy snow made it slow going.

Was my first time there. I parked at Gerard Dr. and Old Kings Rd.

Where do the kool kids park?

We parked off of Amherst rd. About 2-3 miles down Amherst rd off of exit 11. The loop trail leaves the parking lot directly behind the kiosk.

Looks like warm weather tomorrow and Friday, hopefully that freezes overnight and we can get some riding in this weekend. It is kind of nice to pull up the 10 day forcast and see that its going to be above freezing 10 out of 10 days!
