just saying. it is pretty firmed up and stud-rific. ride the TT loop no dab
really (except where the sun was burning), and across the swamp out the power lines. steady pace, no dab.
also don't really need studs everywhere, just a few climbs and some other
minor ice. mostly grippy non-caving-in hardpack.
burlington entrance (wilson mill) is really icy. u want studs there or u be walkin

ultra primo right this moment. I mean nirvana. it was all gritty ice and hardpack everywhwere. ride on trail,
ride off trail across 1-2 feet of snow and not sink. no studs needed as the ice was 'peppered'

I was wondering what it would be like after that storm on Sunday. Studs needed now or will some fatty knobs work just fine?

fat knobs. there is no real ice in there.
fatter the better...rode last night with 2 peeps with nokians, and me with endomorphs. I was able to ride everywhere, anywhere, no sinking. on the nokians, on the trail, there was a little bust through. but the trails are awesome. Shawsheen has loads of ice so you def want studs in there.
anyhow the conditions in the PR are ultimate for pugs. I can just go ride in places you
don't...off trail. and not sink anywhere even though it is a foot 1/2 deep in spots.
