Rode LDT today. The main fire roads have seen a lot of ATV traffic. You can ride in their tracks but there's a lot of ice. Studs needed. Getting in and out of the tracks can be tricky. The secondary fire roads have been packed down by snowmobiles. Less ice and a faster more predictable pace. All in all mostly rideable with studs but I wouldn't travel very far to ride there.

The conditions have improved slightly since this report. hardpack conditions abound, studs not really needed, wide tires are a plus though. A good 70% of stuff is rideable if you get in before it warms up.
