Does anyone know the condition of LSF ? Is it OK to ride?

whether or not the trees are clear...you should not ride state forests until april 15th...that is a general rule to prevent soggy trails from becoming eroded further

if it is frozen solid then fine, but with the ground being soggy, best to avoid making ruts


but no, I do not know if the trees are clear or not

Hogger,

I dont think that the 4/15 closures applies to all state parks. I believe that it varies greatly from one DCR property to the next.

Besides which the trails at LDT DO NOT get soggy. They are built to exacting standards by master trail builders.

Dsf is ridable with studs. It is like a bobsled course on some of the trails. Fire roads are also quite nicelots of snowmobile action has packed it down.
